Sex trafficking and the lgbtq+ community

OUR LGBTQ+MODEL

LGBTQ+ victims of sex trafficking and sexual exploitation are often overlooked, underreported and underrepresented. Despite this, studies on homeless youth are disproportionately affected, with 33.8% of sex trafficked youth identifying as LGBTQ+.  F.A.S.T. understands this and is committed to empowering the LGBTQ+ community that is impacted by sex trafficking and sexual exploitation. We have the knowledge that LGBTQ+ victims may be hesitant to reach out for help because of prior prejudice or some form of mistreatment.

Our staff is trained to be respectful of all communities and we hope to aid and empower our LGBTQ+ community members!
